Kits and a kitten!

I am so very excited to tell you that I have collaborated with the amazing Jackie at Luna Grey Fiber Arts to offer kits for the Flambeau cowl.

Flambeau cowl, short loop version, in Luna Grey Orion, Charcoal and Cranberry

The kits include a PDF copy of the pattern and two skeins of Orion, in your choice of her gorgeous colorways!

The kits are available in her etsy shop, Luna Grey Fiber Arts, and would make a great holiday gift for a fellow knitter, or a special little treat for yourself! The yarn is lovely to work with and suited wonderfully for this project!

I also promised a kitten in the title of this post, so here you have it, the newest member of our family, Chico.  He was rescued from a lumber pile on a building site when he was three weeks old and has been raised by one of my mom's good friends, so he is the sweetest, friendliest little very tolerant and gentle with my kiddos and just adores snuggles.

as you can see, he snuggled up to the knitted sqhuishiness around my neck and it was love at first sight.

So of course, it's no surprise that he has quickly become my little knitting buddy.  Fast asleep with a whole sweater piled on top his back.

That's all for sure to check out those great kits from Luna Grey, it's seriously one of the best yarns I've worked with.

I will be back in a day or two to announce prize winners and share some photos from the Brew City Knits Knit-A-Long, which wraps up tomorrow!
