This set was inspired by, and named after, a chapter in By the Shores of Silver  Lake  where a moonlit path in the snow, which Laura refers to as a "moonpath" indirectly leads the family to their new Homestead.

I will just photo bomb you with a big gallery for your perusal!    We had our first dusting of snow today, so it's officially time to pull out all your warm, fuzzy knitwear!

The blue samples are worked up in the amazingly soft, and superwash!!!!, Malabrigo Mecha, in the Persia colorway.  It is SO stunning in real life, the pictures don't even do it justice.

The neutral colored hat and cowl were worked up in Classic Elite Yarn's MountainTop Chalet, which uses a really unique chainette construction, and is made from bamboo and alpaca, making for light-as-a-feather finished objects.

The cowl can be worn pulled down around the shoulders, or up around the neck, and also doubles wonderfully as a capelet for a little girl.

The hat is available in three sizes, including a child's size. Check out the pattern pages here for more details: Moonpath Hat & Moonpath Cowl
