I am still in denial that it is possible, but my little girl will be turning 5 next week. This little cardi was truly a labor of love for my little gal. Of course, she chose the purple, which wound up being a gorgeous match-up for this pattern from Hannah Fettig, Tiny Rocky Coast.
I picked up a new technique, cabling with out a cable needle, which helped tremendously with the speed of the project. I use the term "speed" loosely, since this project took me about 6 weeks from start to finish (while working on several other things to keep life interesting).
We went out to Grammy and Papa's house in the woods for some romping in the leaves and pretty Fall colors. After the wind we have had for the past two days, there is probably not much left on the trees there.
Here is my girl in her "Eggplant Rocky Coast."
